YOUTH WITHOUT GOD

Five students are in danger of not passing several subjects at school and have got the task to prepare a 20-minute-presentation on Horvath´s “Youth without God”. After heavy discussions and disagreements, they decide to make their presentation a rock-punk-hip-hop-show. In this piece, Ödön von Horvath deals with questions which are relevant to this day: What is love? What do people fear? What makes them violent? What do they hold on when ethic values are considered to be outrated and lies and stupidity are spreading? Marion Rottenhofer portrays the role of the teacher.
